Tristin walked along the exhibits of the Paris Exhibition taking in the crowd, the new wonders to view, new people to meet. It was also the time to take note of who was showing off their wealth.

Thinking to himself, “A ring here, a necklace there, diamond ear rings nice… A constable watching a young pick pocket, sloppy work.”
There it was a necklace he had been chasing.

The neck of the twenty something that wore the necklace was even more inviting.

It did not take long to find out whose daughter she was and where they were staying.

The news paper headline: “Un cambrioleur de chat a volé Un collier inestimable!”

Tristian smiled as he flipped through the pages to read the news. His butler brought his suit for the day.
Tristin sipped his tea.
“Horrible news, the girl must be terrified from someone breaking into her room while she slept,” Jiles said laying it out.
“Probably not till she woke,” Tristen said in Marathi as he put the paper down and he readied himself for another day.

This was the day that Tristin had been waiting for he had been hired due to his unique skills set. The morning was interrupted by a visit from Inspector Marian Auclair.

The questioning was simple, direct, and to point. Tristin played along not taking the bate the inspector dangled before him.

Later that evening he would call upon Lady Ellington.
