Evening

Somewhere in the tunnels of Paris...

"Has she woken up, yet?" A deeply British voice could be heard.

"I think she's starting to wake up." Another male voice, this one French, replied. "Are we sure Jackal will remain unconscious?"

"As sure as we can be." The first voice said. "All right, bring him in."

"What did you do to her?" As Lily awoke, this would be the one familiar voice among the three. The voice of her father.

"She'll be fine," the French man said before the door could be heard closing and locking.

Lily stirred awake as she felt heavy and dizzy. He head was pounding like it was being used as a drum in a loud concert. The state in her mouth was numb and resembled the flavor of copper. Her nose was also numb and tingly as she tried to breath. It felt like she was being squeezed while trying to breath. Then she heard a voice that sent a shiver down her spine and caused her to freeze. She slowly turned her head to see if it was indeed who she thought it was.

"Lily, I ... are you alright?" Wayne Lavigne had, maybe surprising concern in his voice.

The room was large enough for two beds, a small worn out couch. A small round table and two chairs. A door separated the small bathroom, that consisted of nothing more than a sink and toilet. There were no windows.

Wayne Lavigne looked exhausted, and disheveled, still in the same clothes he had been kidnapped in. "I was hoping they would not go after you, now that they had me."

Lily saw her father and some tears welled up in her face as she saw her tattered father. She was overcome with may mixed emotions as she was glad to see her father alive, but mad at him for scaring her and getting her involved with the bad people. She moved to hug her father out of instinct as her tears flowed out. She was distraught with emotions and needed to let it out.

Lily's father embraced his daughter, and just let her get out her emotions. When she managed to pull herself back together, somewhat, her father asked, "Do you know who this unconscious man is?" Gesturing towards Jackal.

Lily nodded as her tears rolled down her red puffy cheeks. She sniffled a bit before she replied, "That's Dr. Jackal. He has been helping me after you got kidnapped." Lily then looked around and asked, "Dad where are we?"

"I am glad you were able to get someone to help you." Wayne commented. "I really am unsure where we are. I believe underground probably in a room off the tunnels." The man looked at his daughter. "I am sorry for all of this. I had no idea that Neville was involved in something so dark. Some group that calls themselves The Children, but I have not been able to get more information."

Lily nodded as her father spoke. She looked around at her surroundings to see that they had no means of escaping. She then looked at Dr. Jackal and knew he could could get them out but only if he transformed into his big red demon form. It was a terrifying thought that she kept to herself. Though she loved her estranged father, she still had trust issues with him. She still had not told him about her being a werewolf. So there was no way she could reveal she was now part of a secret society and had a crush on the good doctor who had a man eating demon inside of him. Lily replied, “No matter how we look at it, we are in dire straits. Do you have any idea on how many of them are here and if there are other prisoners?”

Lily's father shook his head, "As far as I know we're they only prisoners. Other than Neville. I have seen about six different guards. A doctor named Lamaire and some man named Staniadis.

Lily paused when she heard Dr. Lemaire’s name. She looked at Dr. Jackal and realized things just got worse. Dr. Lemaire was responsible for very bad things and he was being hunted down by Lady Elizabeth’s team. Now they were now his prisoners. Lily wanted to cry but knew it would not help her situation. She then asked, “So did they do anything to you after kidnapping you?”

"I was a bit, uncooperative, at first. Let's just say they showed me why that wasn't a good idea." Wayne responded, it might have been noticeable that he was walking with a slight limp and slowly as if his body was sore. "It's best to do just do what they say." The man paused for a moment. "Did they contact you with any demands?"

Lily shook her head no and replied, "No. One minute we were in a car talking and then the windows broke and smoke filled it. After that I woke up here. Dad you know even if we cooperate they will prolly kill us anyway. I can't see them letting us go after all this." Lily seemed skittish as she looked around hoping for a clue to help her find an escape route.
