Mr. Shun Shi and a knew house.

Arriving just a few days ago there were still things to do Sung was by the kitchen and dining room wiping down the sliver. He knew about the message that had come for her and met the boy before he sent the boy to Elizabeth. he was not happy with the silverware here the quality was not as good as back in England. The balance was all off on the knives, forks, and spoons and how they felt in the hand. Sung knew this was a secondary house and that was fine. He felt someone walking up behind him and then the sound of her shoes. Lucie Affré a nice girl about 18 years old and new to the house and being a maid.

"Mr. Shun Shi I am done with the dusting sir, would you like some tea?" she informed Sung he thick french accent was apparent in her speech. Sung turned to look at her. "Are you sure Lucie?" asked Sung knowing the answer. "yes, Mr. Shun Shi" she replied stiffing up some so she would look respectful. "Do you know why I am Lady Elizabeth's chaperon, bodyguard, and Steward plus a few other positions," Sung paused "It is because I have eyes in the back of my head and I see everything and everyone," Sung said with a smile almost joking. "China hutch you missed the top." He informed Lucie. She looked into the other room and back at Sung. "But... how..." she seem to be shocked by the fact he knew without seeing her.

Sung gave her a warm smile "Don't worry about it, Lucie. Just go get it done before the Housekeeper finds out." She did a curtsy Lucie was beside herself with confusion. Lucie turned and walked away mumbling to herself.

Just when Sung thought maybe have some tea Sung heard a loud dispute in the kitchen. Greta Hohenstein the chef was shouting at one of the cooks. A pudgy German older woman her cooking rivaled Sung's as he was informed. Sung look into the kitchen to see what was going on. Now Greta was polite and cordial. But she had no fear in her kitchen, Yes her kitchen. If you messed with it she would bring her rath. Sung had found that out when they got in on the first day. Even Sung learned to say out of the kitchen.

Sung shook his head in amusement. He heard and could feel a presence he knew all too well Elizabeth was coming as he entered the dining room He looked at the kitchen and Greta. "Lady Elizabeth," Sung said very loudly warning the kitchen as he turned to face her with a small bow. the Kitchen fell silent. the kitchen staff all curtsy or slightly bow for the boys they all said "Good day, Lady Elizabeth." Sung striated and gave a warm smile. "My Lady how can I serve you?" he asked respectfully and politely.
