Mission Planning - Wild Cards Briefing Room

Each member of the Wild Cards was a boarder line psychopath/sociopath with a death wish and twisted personality. It was odd that they got along, but they seemed to enjoy the company of each other. and rarely argued.

After leaving the mission briefing the team split up to run some errands and get some chow before going back to the barracks. Kenny checked his messages in his palm pilot and saw several messages from upper command, his promo team wanted him to do some media work for the up coming campaign and then his sister Lily replied to his message. Kenny smirked as he prioritized his sister's message that said to call her ASAP. Kenny then called his dear sweet sister and after two rings she picked up with a worried tone. Lily replied, "Kenny? Is that you?" Kenny responded, "Of course its your favorite big bro." Lily, "Thank goodness your doing okay. You know I worry about you. Are you eating well and taking care of yourself?" Kenny replied, "Of course sis. They keep me on a strict diet since I am in the public eye. Can't let their prized Icon looking bad in the media right?"

Lily sighed as she replied, "You know I love you, even though you are full of it right?" Kenny laughed and replied, "I love ya to sis. Did ya get the notes? I sweet talked a medic for them." Lily replied, "Yes and they were very helpful. Please tell him thank you for me." Kenny chuckled, "Will do sis. So how is school?" Lily replied, "Hectic as usual. There is a lot to remember and the competition is brutal, but I am managing to stay in the top five so far." Kenny seemed content with that answer as he smiled and said, "Sweet. My lil sis will be a doc in no time. Have ya decided on the field ya want to go into?" Lily replied, "I narrowed it down to a few option based on how my scores come out on my finals. The one I do better on will be the one I pick." Kenny asked, "Why not pick the one you like sis?" Lily replied, "Cause I am picking the one that will make me the most money based on my skill you goof. I want to be able to take care of my boneheaded sis-con brother before he looses his last brain cell in his pursuit of fame."

Kenny chuckled and said, "How am I a sis-con?" Lily seemed annoyed as she answered, "Only a sis-con brother would join a suicide military squad and self promote himself for fame and fortune just to put his little sister through medical school while paying for her living expenses while he lives in poverty!! Please don't make me worry about you." Kenny chuckled as he replied, "I'm sorry for making ya worry sis. I'll try ta not go to overboard with the missions, but I don't always get a say on that since its tha military and all." Lily sighed, "I know......, but you know it scares me you might not come back to me one day." Kenny nervously smirked as he said, "Don't sweat it sis. I have an insurance policy in place if it happens. You will be taken care of if that day comes." Lily, "I'd rather have my idiot brother instead of money. I am worried you will not come back or worse you become a vegetable drooling on yourself while watching the vid screen."

Kenny giggled then said, "Only you would say that sis." Lily replied, "That's cause I'm the only who really loves you, you arrogant muscle brained psychopath!" Kenny touched his chest and smiled then said, "And that is what keeps me going sis. I will suck it up and live on knowing my lil sis will scold and pamper me in my retirement." Lily giggled and said, "I'll hold you to that promise Kenny. I won't forgive you if you lie to me." Kenny replied, "I know. You're the only I am afraid of sis. Not even the Grim Reaper will keep us apart." Lily smirked as she replied, "That's right. Oh and I best not hear you bringing any of those skanks home either. Any girl you bring home has to be approved by me." Kenny chuckled and replied, "Yeah yeah sis. Well I need ta get going. They are already making plans to paste my ugly mug on the propaganda train so expect a fat check soon." Lily was silent on the other end as her emotions were building up then the replied, "Please come back." Kenny was getting emotional as he replied, "I will sis. I love you." Lily answered, I love you to you big idiot."

Kenny then hung up and checked his media messages as he was tearing up a bit. His sister was his only anchor to sanity and she was his reason to stay sane in his insane world. As he thumbed threw his messages he saw he was going to be busy doing commercials and war propaganda for the next few weeks. He sighed as it was a pain in the ass but he was doing it for his dear sweet sister Lily who loved him despite being a useless older brother. He sighed before he called his military agent and began making small talk about his future schedule.
