Now Accepting Nominations for the 2025 Tournament of Simulations (ToS)

Now that we are finally back on track, it’s time to stay on track: The 2025 Tournament of Simulations (ToS) is hereby officially open to receive nominations through May 3rd, 2026!

For those who might be unfamiliar with ToS, this is an annual event where you can enter your role play or sim to potentially win a prize at no cost or risk to you! Judges from across the community go through all of the nominations and evaluate them in three different categories: story, characters, and readability.

As has been our tradition for many years now, play-by-post games will be graded on 10 consecutive posts while chat games will be graded on a single chat session. All sims will be considered regardless of club or fleet affiliation. We then present awards to the top-scoring games. The sims that do not place are not announced. That’s right: you’ve got nothing to lose, so why not enter?

With that out of the way, how about we get on with the nominations…

First, read this article: How Does the Tournament of Simulations (ToS) Work?

Second, take a look some of at the past winners: 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | 2021 | 2022 | 2023 | 2024

We (always) need Judges!

As always, please contact me at star [dot] idf [at] gmail [dot] com if you’re interested in serving as a judge. The more judges we have, the quicker we can announce winners. Thank you to all who continue to serve the community in this capacity!

New Sponsor!

After an incredible 11 year run as the sponsor of the Tournament of Simulations, we recently decided to transfer it to the Simming League, back where it all began in 1999. We have greatly enjoyed our run with this incredible institution for more than a decade, but feel this is the right move for the role playing environment today. But don’t worry: Ongoing Worlds will continue to support ToS, the Simming League, and the rest of the community in any and every way that we can.
