Rosette - "Mistrust"

<long snip>Justin had been drinking in Parrotts with some people he had found. He knew that most people had found out his secret that he was a Hymenoptera sympathiser, and at first it made things very awkward for him. He forced himself into a social group with Chris Harris, Dean, Rosette and Phil who were all sitting down in Parrotts and chatting. It took a long time for them to finally accept him into their little social circle, at first they were ignoring everything he said, and Rosette especially was blanking him, it was clear she thought he was a freak. Maybe she was right. But after a while he bought everyone a round and finally their own sense of common decency forced them to at least talk to him. He cracked a few jokes and did a stupid dance that made everyone laugh, and finally they started to warm to him. Although they probably still thought he was a freak, at least they were accepting him somewhat.Luckily the conversation about Hymenoptera never came up. Well, it did come up once, when Harris mentioned he was glad to see the back of the "Hymenoptera scum".Justin started to fume under his skin, but decided to not say anything, or it would just cause a huge argument where everyone would hate him for "liking the Hymenoptera too much". He decided to wait.He knew the day would come where he would rule the Hymenoptera. He had seen it in the future.</long snip>Rosette had really needed that drink.  It was that first drink that started it all off, and now she could barely think where she was going.  She'd needed that drink like a bazookoid to the face.  Right now though, she was aimlessly wandering the halls of the Blue Dwarf, vaguely heading towards her quarters."Why am I free?" she wondered, almost out loud.  She'd killed several members of the crew, and there was still no reason for them to trust that she'd gotten rid of the Bug that had done it."Why is Jay so trusting?" she asked, though that time it was actually out loud.  A passing crewmember noticed that she was so drunk, she was nearly clinging to the rivets on the floor for support.  The crewmember carried on walking past, correctly assuming that she was talking to herself. She got to her quarters, and looked in.  The remnants of the bug still hung there.... Pieces of exoskeleton, and web hung from the walls and ceiling... Regardless of how drunk she was, what had happened here still registered in her mind.  If she wasn't so numb from alcohol, she'd have broken down by now.  As she was, however, she grabbed a spare duvet from a cupboard which had miraculously survived the mess, and wandered back out into the halls."No one trusts me... They're just humouring me." she muttered.  She absent mindedly walked, not caring where she was going...Areas of the ship kept going through her mind.  She knew she'd been to most of the places on the ship while in her Hymenoptera form, and either destroyed it, or left markings.  There was only one place left that she could think to stay hidden.  Somewhere that hardly anyone would show up in.She curled up in her duvet in the corner of a random science lab.  The door had opened easily, seeing as she'd bashed the control panel in with a nearby crowbar.  Her eyes had glazed over when she tried to read the name plate, but that didn't matter to her.  There was only one scientist onboard that seemed to do anything, so the chances of running into him was slim.  She knew he'd leave her alone anyway...
