You'd like that, Rodent'ya.....

Seymour pressed the button to call the lift and immediately regretted it. The mechanism whirred, and groaned causing a screech that could surely be heard by every one of those monsters on the entire deck. The doors opened, the metal grating as it opened.
“Can we get some oil on these doors, the Admirals wouldn't like it-”
“Shut up about the Admirals!” Jay scolded him and pushed the wheelchair into the lift, which creaked under the weight.
“What's wrong with this lift?” Seymour asked.
“It's 3 million years old, I-” Cassandra said, but stopped when she saw a creature running straight at them from the corridor behind. She quickly pressed the button to close the doors but nothing happened apart from the button sparked, and the lights flickered.
The creature continued running towards them

Jay, grabbed Seymour’s arms, and yanked him roughly out of his wheelchair. “I say!” Seymour protested as he hit the floor “You’ve dirtied my suit! I shall send you my dry cleaning bill!”
Jay didn’t respond, but grabbed Seymour under one arm, he raised his free arm upwards, and a small hook launched from his wrist and blasted through the access panel of the lifts roof, and latched onto the side of the lift shaft a few floors up, Jay then and wrapped his free arm around Cassandra’s waist yanking both of them in close, and tapped a switch on his belt, the cable began to wind quickly, yanking the trio free from the creatures path as it smashed headlong into the back of the lift car, and lifting them cleanly through the access hatch.
“Cass, blast it…” Jay barked, and Cass, both arms free, used her pistol to shoot the lifts clamp’s, which in turn caused the lift to fall to the bottom of the shaft, the creature – and Seymours wheelchair along with it.
The trio dangled helplessly for a few seconds before smashing into the side of the lift shaft, two decks up.
“My word, this won’t do! How will be the admirals get around the ship now?” Seymour said “I shall be discussing this at length with Miss Febuggure when she emerges from stasis!”
“Amber?” Jay asked “Who died and put her in charge?”
Jay kicked off from the back wall of the shaft and the three swung across to the door. Cass, prised the doors apart, and stepped through, helping Seymour through before Jay jumped out and unhooked himself, the grappler whizzing back into his suit with a satisfying ‘thwiip’. Jay glanced down at a reading on his wrist. “Power’s draining…without the control computer my nano-suit will be outta power before long and I’ll lose all my weapons and tech…we need to find the armoury if we’re gonna get anywhere..”
“Where are we?” Cass asked, looking around.
“And how do you expect me to get around now?” Seymour snapped.
The entire view was filled with make-shift tents, and cabins filling the entire floor space like a shanty town. Small fires burned in oil cans, with human-sized rodents scurrying around between them against a backdrop of rusted, unlit shop fronts.
“Its…the promenade!” Jay said.
“Do you think they’re friendly?” Cass replied
“I don’t know…” Jay said, glancing at the rodents, “There’s a few different species here, hamsters, probably evolved from Rufus’ lab’s. Chipmunks…bet they came from my sister’s pets….”
“First things first!” said Seymour loudly “I need transport!”
His loud voice caught the attention of the keen-eared rodents, and a group scurried over hurriedly and grabbed Seymour, dragging him off into the distance.
“I say!” he yelled “Unhand me!”
Jay and Cass looked at each other and headed after them.
The rodent’s stopped outside a branch of Tesco, and placed Seymour in a shopping trolley and wheeled him back to Jay and Cass.
“..erm…” Jay said “Thank you!?”

<Tag…the rodent’s are friendly it seems, what’s they’re story? How will Seymour like being ferried around in a 3-million year old shopping trolley?>
