The HORROR!

Phil had had the Archivers ship tractored into the hangar bay, which was where Jay was headed when he ran into Phil, himself on his way to hunt the saboteur.
“Phil, been looking for you, I’m heading into the Archivers ship…survivors may be trapped inside…plus, we might be able to pick up a few much needed supplies”
Phil nodded.
“You coming?” Jay asked.
“…yeah..sure” Phil replied “It’s just…”
“What?”
“Holly tells me the turrets weren’t just fired, but totally destroyed…this wasn’t an accident.”
“I never really thought it was…”
Phil shrugged, “Guess not, I guess I just hoped that it was an accidental mis-firing of millenia old weapons somewhere during the restoration, rather than a malicious act y’know? There aint many of us to be able to trust as it is…”
“We can figure it out later” jay said “I’m gonna need help getting any survivors out…”

A few minutes later, the two men were picking their way through the wreckage of the Archiver ship, which now filled most of one of the larger shuttle bays.

They’d pulled a couple of survivors who had managed to make their way to the airlocks out, but as they moved deeper inside the twisted wreckage of the vast vessel, Jay’s scanner stopped bleeping.

“That’s all of them..” he said “No more lifesigns…whoever did this just massacred hundreds…”
“but why?” Phil said
Jay shrugged. “Until we find out who it was, we’ve know way to know…here, help me…”
Jay indicated a door to a cargo bay. He and Phil grabbed a side of the double-sliding doors each and pulled them apart.
“Food!” Phil said
“We might as well stock up…” Jay said “Normally I’d have moral objections over salvaging from those who have JUST died but…times are hard…”
Phil cracked open a crate.
“Oh god…” he said
“What?” Jay asked
“I…..”
“What?!”
“….it….it can’t be!”
“WHAT?”
Phil said nothing, just stumbled back and sat on the floor, pointing at the crate gibbering.
Jay shook his head in exasperation and gazed into the crate himself.
“….no….”
“Uh-huh” Phil nodded.
“How can this be?”
Jay broke open another crate, and another, and another..
“They’re all the same!” he cried. “Phil! Why?”
“We came so close….”
Jay dropped to his knees, looked up, and raised his hands high above his head before screaming “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!”
The two men looked at each other, got to their feet and dejectedly left the room. Their faces failing to hide their disappointment, their…fear.
Behind them, they left behind 200 crates, of non-alcoholic beer.

On exiting the ship, and stepping back into the cargo bay, Jay’s radio crackled. “Jay, this is Katrina…we can’t find Ishani…neither our, or the ships sensors can find her, she’s NOT aboard…”
“Bing bong” said Holly coming on the shipwide comm channel. “Temporal anomaly detected. Weird wibbly time thing happening on the foundry decks”
“Foundry Decks?” Phil said “That’s where….”
“Where the Cannon Control hub is…” Jay finished “Something tells me our saboteur has been found…” he opened a channel back through the ship-wide comm.
“All hands, this is Chrysler, saboteur has been identified as Ishani. Meet up back at Parrotts, - Hoshi, that means your guys too…”
He was interrupted by another voice coming over the comm.
“Jay, Solvay here…I was just heading up to the Cannon Control to see what I could find out, I saw the time…thing as it happened. It was Ishani alright…and Jay…she took Cass….”
