Clean up in aisle 4!

This was bullshit.

Why the smeg was Seymour pussy-footing around trying to convince the inspector that the Dwarf was a top-of-the line Space Corp military ship?

It would never work. Jay knew that better than anyone. He WAS space corp. The Dwarf was a smegging MINING ship.

So the station was heavily fortified?

Oooh. Jay was so scared.

He stormed along the corridor, Davie at his side, and reached the arboretum. He nodded to Alex who moved aside as Jay pulled the blood stained door aside.

"You" he snapped, looking at the exhausted Jaxx. "Come with me"

Jaxx obeyed, and got to his feet, Davie handed him a rifle.

"What are we doing Sir?" Jaxx asked, as he followed Davie and Jay along the corridor toward the flight deck.

"What we should have done from the start, going...shopping" Jay replied. "Seymours plan will never work, and theres too much riding on this to leave it to him....we need those supplies. Food, ammo....medicines.."

"So" Davie said "We're going to take them"

"Isn't that stealing?" Jaxx said "I don't want us to get in trouble!"

Jay and Davie stopped in their tracks and stared at the man. ( an opportunity Jay was thankful for as it gave him an opportunity to lean against a wall to try and kerb the dizziness that was currently trying its best to overwhelm him) "You ATE an entire race of Gelfs! DEVOURED the Huzards! And you're nervous about a little...harmless piracy?" Davie said.

"Look" Jay said gently, rubbing his pounding head, "Normally I'd agree with you, if there were people on that station I'd try to work out a peaceful trade. But it's an abandoned station, everyone aboard long dead. The holographic inspector the only crew member, and he's not gonna need the supplies."

"But Mr Seymour said it was too heavily defended!"

"The stationery cupboard on G-deck is too heavily defended for Seymour!" Jay snapped "Look, let me worry about the defences. There is no-one who can fly a ship better than me, I'll get us in no worries...the only thing is, we don't know what kind of INTERNAL defences they might have and that's where you come in. The three of us are probably the most capable fighters aboard this rust-bucket. If anyone's gonna succeed in this, it's us...plus, it'll help that Seymours keeping the inspector distracted."

They entered the shuttle-bay, and Jay picked out the most intact looking Space Eagle, and climbed into the cockpit. Davie and Jaxx clambered into the single co-pilot seat behind him.

Jay learned something in the next few minutes.

When you enter into a tense dogfight, dodging, weaving, looping and ducking to avoid heavy enemy fire (while successfully taking out every turret, missle launcher and defensive sheild without breaking a sweat - well, he would have, if not for the virus) with someone who has just eaten an entire population, that person is unlikely to keep their 'dinner' down.

As Jay touched down in the now externally defenceless stations hangar bay. He and Davie leapt out of the cockpit at light-speed. Each man dripping from head to toe in regurgitated Huzards.

"You are SO walking home..." Jay said, glaring at the MACO, right before passing out again...

<tag! Jay won't be out for long, but what do we find on the station, how does the inspector react when / if he finds out?>
