The Slime Effect

Jaxx woke up on the beach confused and a bit cold. A voice behind him spoke up and said, "A bit nippy huh?" Jaxx nodded as he turned to see a talking black cat. Jaxx looked at the cat and asked, "Am I dead?" The cat looked at Jaxx and answered, "That all depends on you." Jaxx looked down as he thought about his next words. Jaxx then asked "Well what happens next?" The cat answered, "Now you must choose if you want to live or die." Jaxx thought again about his life and asked the cat, "What happens if I die? The cat answered, "Follow me."

Jaxx followed the cat down the beach. The two walked for a long time before they came to a mirror. The cat looked at Jaxx and said, "This is the Mirror of Fate. It allows you to see what what happens if you choose to live and if you choose to die as you are." Jaxx looked at the mirror and then at the cat. Then Jaxx asked, "How does it work?" The cat stared at Jaxx and replied, "Just look in the mirror and ask it to show you your options. Keep in mind both paths will come with a great sacrifice so choose wisely."

Jaxx looked at the mirror and asked, "Mirror show me what happens if I die." Jaxx watched the mirror with sadness followed by tremendous fear and anger. Jaxx had to get his emotions in check and catch his breath before he could look at the mirror again. Jaxx looked at the mirror and asked, "Mirror show me what happens if I live." The mirror began showing showing Jaxx a barrage of events that made Jaxx drop his jaw in shock. Jaxx eventually looked at the cat and said, "You call that a choice? Either way I go I'm smegged." The cat looked at Jaxx and said, "That all depends on you. Each choice you make will alter the outcome of your future. Should you choose to live you must choose to either be what you were created for or choose to be more than what you made for." Jaxx pondered his decision for a while. Jaxx looked at the ocean and then at the cat and said, "I choose to live and be more than I was."

The cat nodded and said, "You have chosen." Jaxx looked at the cat and asked, "So just out of curiosity who are you anyway?" The cat answered, "I am Yourochi, your spirit guide." Suddenly the cat transformed into a beautiful tanned and naked woman. Yourichi had black hair, tanned skin, green eyes and a tight body. Jaxx was in shock to see such beauty as he dropped his jaw. Yourochi smiled at Jaxx and said, "As your spirit guide I will aid you in your future trials when you have need." Jaxx regained his composure and said, "I'm sorry I wasn't ready for your human form. When you were a cat your voice sounded like a man." Yourochi smiled and said, "Don't sweat it Sharkboy. Now if you want to talk to me again you need to meditate and calm your mind." Jaxx nodded and said, "So what happens now?" Yourochi answered, "Now you go back."

Suddenly Jaxx was begining to ooze green slime from his body. Jaxx began to get nervous and tried to wipe it off. Yourochi spoke up and said, "Relax Sharkboy. Your body is changing. From now on you will be a man till you summon your shark side. When you need your sharkside your body will ooze the slime and turn you into a large shark with limbs. You will retain your human mind, however you can only maintain this form for a few hours before it melts into the slime again. As you get stronger you can hold that form even longer. You will need rest and food in order maintain your strength. If you try to power up to many times a day you risk becoming an animal will endanger all those around you." Jaxx said, "How will I know what to do?" Yourochi answered, "It will feel natural." Suddenly Jaxx was covered in slime as he blacked out.

When Jaxx woke up he was covered in slime and looking up at a blurry Jay. Jay looked at the slimy Jaxx and said, "What the Smeg? I thought you were dead. " Jaxx sat up and realized his wounds were gone and so was the pain. Jay looked Jaxx over and said, "It must be some kind of side effect from the mutagen gas." Jaxx nodded and muttered, "Must be." As the slime completely melted away from Jaxx, Jay was shocked to see Jaxx lost his gills,fins and shark teeth as the slime oozed off him. Jaxx looked at Jay and asked, "What? Is there something on my face?"
