Well, it's something.

“I am afraid the skills of every one of your band will be needed on this quest” the Dungeon Master calmly informed Jay. “It is not possible for anyone to stay behind.”

“Erm…” Jay said, then shrugged and smacked the guard hard around the back of the head with his crucifix, making him stumble forward and toppled from the drawbridge where he splashed into the water, his heavy armour making him sink.
“Why couldn’t you have just done that in the first place?” Plisken asked.

Jacky appeared suddenly, as if his life was guided by an author who was behind on current events and needed him to be shoved into the story very quickly. Sort of like that.

"Where'd you come from?" asked Plisken.

"I don't even know. Given the apparent situation, it hardly seems important, though." Jacky said.

"I guess." said Plisken. "So what are you then?"

Jacky examined the guitar he had suddenly possessed.

"A bard, apparently." Jacky said. "If this is anything like Dn'D, I should be able to play some magic songs."

"Well, that sounds cool!" Jaxx said. "Try it out!"

"Well, playing the instrument for real is a lot different than rolling dice, but I'll give it a go." Jacky said.

He plucked a few strings at random, which made the water turn slightly purple.

"Oh. Well, that's certainly something."
