"The Escher room" Tregard's disembodied voice announced.

"This is that M.C. Escher painting, I think." Jacky said.

"You know it?" Jay asked.

"I've seen it a few times. I don't really know it well enough to help out, here. Sorry." Jacky replied. He started rummaging through his pockets, before pulling out some lint.

"What's the lint for?" Jaxx asked.

"I'm going to see which way down is." Jacky said, dropping the lint. The lint went, from his perspective, up. But before it hit the "ceiling", it took a sharp left turn and landed on the left side wall.

"Well, um..." Jacky said, thinking.

"Oh wow." Alex said. "What now?"

Jacky paused before turning to the group.

"Bare with me on this, but..." Jacky said. He jumped off the edge of their platform, falling straight down on the ground below. He got up painfully.

"Well. Scientifically speaking, gravity is pretty screwed up." Jacky said. "Make of that what you will."

"Can you see a door down there?" Jay asked.

"No..." Jacky said. "I see
