What a card.

"Alright..." Cass held Lindstrom in front of her so that the snipers wouldn't shoot, and made her way into a corridor. Artemis turned to the others.

"Get back to the cellblocks and start a riot! It will keep the guards busy enough for us to arrange an escape. We'll try to send a tram your way so we can meet up in the saucer!" Jay nodded and lead the others out of the room and back to the cellblocks.

Jacky ran down to the cellblocks with the others. He looked around for a few seconds before a particular prisoner caught his eye. He was big, bigger than Jaxx was before he was a skutter, and his brow was fixed into a permanent glare.

Jacky knocked on the wall nearby to get his attention.

"Uh, hey there." he said.

The large prisoner turned to him.

"Oh, I didn't see you there, friend!" he said in a thick cockney accent. "Would you like to play a round of cards?"

"Uh, no thank you, no." Jacky said. "I was actually wondering if you'd like to help start a riot. If that's okay."

the prisoner looked around.

"But I've only just started my drink." he said, slurping a large plastic cup labelled "Mega-Glug."

"But... But don't you want your freedom?" Jacky pleaded.

"Sure I do. But riots are a bit messy, aren't they?"

Jacky sighed.

"Tell ya what." the prisoner continued. "I'll help out with a riot if you can beat me in a hand."

"Oh. Oh! Sure, sure, great!" Jacky said.

Jacky didn't know how to play cards.

"Just one sec!" he said, frantically stepping away.

He looked around at the others. He needed someone who could play cards. Plisken? He was old. Maybe he learned to play cards in that time? What about Boyd? Actually no. Not Boyd.
Phil. He'd know.

"Hey, Phil!" Jacky said in as friendly and warming a voice he could, but it came off somewhat threatening.

"Oh, hey there... Jerry. Johnny. Jakey?" Phil responded.

"Close enough. Do you know how to play cards?"

"Well sure, but is now really a good-"

"Great. Please come here." Jacky pulled him over to the prisoner. "Phil, this is..."

"Tim." the prisoner introduced himself with a bright smile and a friendly wave.

"He won't help start a prison riot unless someone beats him in a hand of cards." Jacky explained. "So please. Help."

Phil sighed. "Well, alright."

Tim slid some cards under the door for Phil.

"Hold on." Phil said. "This is too many cards."

"You sure?" Tim asked. "No. Just right. So, got any 3's?"

Phil paused and exchanged confused looks with Jacky.

"Uh... go... fish." Phil responded.

Tim grumbled a bit.

"Well, you win. Let me just get my socks on." Tim said.

Phil looked at Jacky. Jacky looked at Phil.

"Er. Thanks." Jacky said.
