Girl on a Mission

Jay was sat next to Phil, the latter of whom was leaning on the others shoulder wearing a giraffe costume, a kebab stain and a turquoise waistcoat. Jay looked hung-over, or tired, no one was quite sure which, and was too afraid to ask. Eve sat in the corner, casting furious, red, puffy eyed glances at Jay and Cass. Plisken smoked his pipe, feet up on the chair in front. Jade was sat with Phi, who was fussing over the fluffy slippered Doctor. Others slowly filtered in and took their places, murmuring quietly about why they were all here. The hubbub was full of nervous tension, everyone still on edge after the recent trips. Cass sauntered in last, typing away on her pad, Kenneth trailing after her like a lost puppy.

Evelina was still upset after being blown off by Jay and talking to Cass was pointless since she seemed to hate Jaxx anyway. Between crying and being angry Evelina had not been sleeping well. It was bad enough Jaxx was depressed and watching the Tele all day and night, but then Jay and Cass kicked her out of her room without warning. She had to sleep in someone else’s room and buy all new clothes at the Promenade since she only had what she was wearing and that happened to be covered in oil and grease. She was hoping Jay would have taken a hint when she tried to talk to him while wearing greased covered blue overalls that were to small for her. Unfortunately Jay blew her off without even noticing. Evelina made a sour face as she listened to Cass tell them they were going to a planet for some R&R. It wasn’t fair that Jaxx had to stay locked up in their room while she was stuck on the planet. Its not like Jaxx was responsible killing Jay’s wife so why was he being blamed? Then Evelina thought to her self for a minute, “Perhaps I can convince the others that Jaxx is really a nice guy and help them see past their own view of him.” Evelina gave a small grin as she ran various scenarios in her head on how she would talk to each person.

The starbug full of Dwarfers, expertly piloted by Jay, drifted like a leaf on the wind down to the surface. The beaches glittered with soft golden sand, the water sparkled like hundreds and thousands of sapphires, emeralds and diamonds in a turquoise silk dress. Palm trees with coconuts hung pendulously from their branches. As the bug settled on a wide grassy plain and the ramps opened, the warm breeze was gentle and tinged with that refreshing hint of the sea and a flowery fruity smell. Off to one side was wide expanses of beaches, the other a healthy growing forest.
"Gees...Holly outdid himself here didn't he?" Molly said, stepping down and looking around.
"Last in the sea is a big fat loser!" Jay yelled, sprinting towards the ocean, somehow having changed from flight gear to swimming trunks in 30 seconds...

After arriving on the planet Evelina picked up her bag and looked around as she left the ship. Evelina was wearing a tight blue coverall top, sandals and a pink wrap skirt with green décor. Evelina then put on her fashionable orange and silver sunglasses to help block out the sun. Since Evelina was created to be beautiful she looked hot in just about anything she wore. She didn’t have to worry about being in the sun, exercising or watching her diet since her body was designed to keep her looking the same at all times. In her past as a GELF model, Evelina had seen many beautiful places like this one, but rarely got the chance to have fun on one since she was always working. Evelina sighed as she looked around at the beautiful beach. It wasn’t fair that Jaxx couldn’t come, especially since he loved the water so much. Evelina watched, as Jay seemed to be in better spirits since they landed. Perhaps this would be a good time to convince him Jaxx really is a good person. Jamie distracted Evelina, as she saw him talking to himself.

The water was warm. But it was an open beach... Just the sound of waves splashing against the sand, and no where to hide. It was just... too open. He turned around, and walked back up the beach, before making a turn back to the Starbug to pick up his toolkit.
"Not working again, are you?" Eve asked, not wanting to go and enjoy herself too much without Jaxx.
"Relaxing work." Jamie replied. "Thanks for your help the other day, I got alot more done than I thought I would alone." He said, before heading, toolkit in hand, towards the forest.
"Big trees are too big..." He said to himself. "Small ones should be better, but more supple... May need support structures." he began, trailing off into a mumble. Plans formed in his head, but nothing as huge as he had built on Fernandos. Mind you, no one planned to be on this planet for 10 years.

Evelina looked at everyone doing his or her own thing before she took a deep breath as she thought to herself, “This is it. I need to talk to Jay now while I still have the chance. The last thing I need it Cass trying to spend time with him before I can talk to him.” Evelina fixed her hair and removed her shades, sandals, coverall and wrap skirt to reveal her skimpy black bikini that hugged her body like it was painted on. Evelina then smiled with confidence as she hummed a tune from her favorite Broadway movie.

Evelina sashayed across the sand as she continued to hum her tune and fixated on Jay. Evelina continued to sashay she was completely oblivious to anyone who was watching her. Evelina was on a mission to save her Jaxx and she needed to change Jay’s mind. As Evelina arrived at the water line she slowly walked into the water. It was both warm and cold at the same time. The mixture or different currents made the water temperature change back and forth. It didn’t take long before Evelina was all wet and approaching Jay. As Evelina swam near Jay she noticed they were both standing on a sand bar and the water was only waist deep. Evelina smiled and looked at Jay as she said, “You seem to be in good spirits Captain. A penny for your thoughts.” Evelina was really trying to put on the charm in hopes to get Jay to stay focused on her body. She hoped that he might drop his guard around her since she was not a threat and barely clothed. It was hard not to notice Evelina’s cleavage was illuminated by both the sun and the glistening water that slowly dripped down her chest to her belly button. Deep down inside Evelina was nervous as hell but she was out of options at this point. She needed Jay to change his mind.
