Nicholas Florentyn.  (Nik to his friend)sex:- MaleAge:- 27
Job:- Shuttle pilot and part-time spaceship driving instructor
Physical description:- Approx. 5'11, light build, dusky brown unkempt hair, grey (usually bloodshot) eyes, small mouth with tight lips, hipflask(s), generally scruffy appearance.
 
Interests:  Drinking,flying or (more usually) both.Personality:  Depressed alcoholic with some suicidal tendancies.
History:- Born on Mars to respectable parents, Nik soon became interested in vehicles and mechanics, especially spacecraft.  On joining the core he some became a high level fighter pilot at the age of 19.  This soon led to a life of sex drugs, alcohol, and rock and roll.  More sex, more drugs, more alcohol.  Drugs alcohol, drugs drugs alcohol alcohol alcohol, drugs alcohol crashing expensive spacecraft.  Nik was bumped down to a low level mechanics job, and soon ran out of money for drugs so kept up the alcohol instead.  Over the next 5 years (22-27) Nik has been working his way up the ranks slightly, even managing to pass his instructors exam by having his permanent record subtly altered from "Do NOT let this man go anywhere near the pilot seat of any vehicle known to man", to "Do NOT let this man go anywhere near the pilot seat of any vehicle above 99 ton."  He is currently looking forward to his new job...
