Schweeble's double
Who: Joe Schweeble.
Where: Somewhere between the Security Department and the promenade.
When: Shortly after the announcement that Blue Dwarf was being boarded.
As soon as Joe had heard the announcement that the Blue Dwarf was being
boarded, he ran out of the Brig (dropping the jar of cockroaches on his way,
the cockroaches ran into a corner of one of the holding cells and continued
their illegal party), to the security department to got some firepower. On
his way to the promenade he ran into a man who looked a lot like Joe
himself, he had one blue eye and one green eye, the man had one eye closed
and was walking into walls.
Who are you? and what are you doing? Joe asked the man.
The man turned round, still with one eye closed and started speaking to Joe,
although he wasnt looking in Joes direction.
Im Joe Schweeble, and Im using my special GELF powers said Joe #2.
What GELF powers? asked Joe #1.
Well you see, if I close my right eye, my eyesight gets super bad and I can
only see vague blurry shapes of things said Joe #2.
Whats the point in that? Joe #1 asked.
Well you see its
.actually youve got a damn good point there Joe #2
replied , opened his right eye and saw Joe #1 for the first time. Blimey,
you look just like me, now let me think
.ah yes, Ive had orders to capture
anyone that looks like me, so if youll excuse me while I just put these
restraining bands on your wrists then we can go to the Red Dwa
That was as
far as Joe #2 got before Joe #1 shot him in the face with his LA pistol
(set to stun).
Joe #1 threw Joe #2 over his shoulders, took him down to the holding cells
and threw him in the cell next to Rimmer. He then went back up to the
promenade to sort out any other alternate reality type impostors that might
be around.
