Showing Up (Finally!)

OOC-Okay, I've waited long enough. Here I go, my first
official post.
RPG-Jeri James watched the International Underwater
Hockey League game, the Titan Seamonkeys Vs. the
Europa Trouts, with pure concentration. The Seamonkeys
were winning 1 to 0, and if the Trouts didn't get
their buns in gear soon, she was gonna lose $50.
Sure, the game was on a three week delay and the
people she'd bet against already knew who'd won, but
it wasn't her fault she had to wait so long to see the
end result. She was in the middle of space, on her way
to her new ship, the Blue Dwarf, on a slow moving
shuttle with bad reception. If the stupid shuttle
didn't have to make so many stops to other mining
ships, she'd already be on the Blue Dwarf, which she'd
been assured had excellent reception, with only a one
week delay of sports.
"Next stop, JMC Mining Ship, the Blue Dwarf, ETA 16
hours," came the announcement over the video screen in
her quarters, drowning out the game.
Jeri sat back on her bed, thankful she'd atleast been
given her own room for the long journey. "16 hours,
can't wait," she mumbled. "They better have a good bar
onboard, or I'm applying for a tranfer."
