Phil did what?!! He's dead...Again

Acting Captain Allie Fletcher stretched, putting her
feet up on the captain's desk. Then, as she heard the
sprinklers out in the Drive Room stop, she grinned.
"Yes, this is the life," she moaned.
"Allie-I mean, Captain," came Holly's voice,
"there's someone here to see you."
Allie put her feet down and straightened her
uniform. "Okay, Hol, send them in."
A girl she didn't recognize came through the doors,
looking slightly meek. This made Allie feel pretty
good, being intimidating. "Yes?" Allie asked. She
motioned for the girl to sit down across from her.
"Uh, hi, I'm Eve Rimmer," the girl started, "and I
was sent here to tell you something. About Phil."
Allie inhaled sharply. "What about Phil FeBuggure?"
she asked through gritted teeth.
Eve correctly guessed the Acting Captain would
explode. "He, um, kinda took a Starbug-" She didn't
get a chance to finish.
"HE WHAT!!??" Allie screamed. She smashed a
hard-light fist on the desk top. "He's supposed to be
working on getting my Wolfie back to normal! I'm going
to kill him. Again!!"
"Well, that's why he went," Eve piped up. "He was
just afraid to tell you because he was afraid you'd
hurt him."
"Damn right I would!" Allie took a deep breath. Then
another. "Well, I guess since he's doing it to help
the Commander of My Heart, White Wolf, I won't have
him court martialed and tortured." She forced a smile
at Miss Rimmer, sensing the girl was nervous enough.
"Thank you, Eve, for the info. I appreciate your
bravery, being new and all, and don't worry about
Phil. Just you relax and worry about getting settled
in, okay?"
Eve, seeming confused, nodded and quickly exited.
Allie returned her feet to the desk top, throwing
her arms behind her head. "Cute kid."
