A tearful fairwell

A few hours before Blue Dwarf leaves Vega 22
James had been humiliated, he'd been at the point of winning a victory for
the Space Core, being invited to join them, of having a career as a REAL
space adventurer. Unfortunately his plan had meant him leaving his post, the
Blues had attacked through it and now he'd been dunked in a vat of green
paint, had "LOOSER" painted onto his forehead and had been banned from ever
joining the Space Core or, thanks to Al Gore, the Democrats.
He sighed as he walked along the walkway to the Blue Dwarf, beer bottles and
confiscated weapons were hurled at him by disgruntled customs officers as he
left.
"WAIT!" there was a shout from customs, James turned to see Biff running
towards him.
"What are you doing here?" James asked.
"I couldn't let you leave without saying goodbye!" Biff said smiling.
"I'll miss you," James sighed.
"I'll miss you too," Biff said, taking his hand, "But we'll always have
paintball..."

Efof sighed, garbage duty, the worst of all duties. He walked along the
corridors, shoulders slumped, on his way to his shift he passed the bar
where there was a huge party.
"Ah!" Efof said, "So THAT'S what hate is!"
Eventually he got to work, Garbage Duty, he sighed pressed the "VENT GARBAGE
BUTTON" and returned to his quarters, smiling at the knowledge of a job well
done...

James sat in his quarters, staring dreamily up at Doom's backside (No, don't
read anything into this, the only reason he's doing this is because that's
how bunk beds are set out, and Doom doesn't use a matress, oh sod it...)
James sat in his quarters, staring dreamily into the middle distance. He
hadn't gained a lot from his trip to Vega 22, humiliation, being held in
captivity, a grudge by the entire crew of a space ship and space station,
but there was something he'd gained here that he would always carry with
him. He'd nicked the towel from his cell when he was jailed up.
