"What?...." Alota asked disbelief clearly in her voice, then she realised something, this was the Blue Dwarf, the only ship to go against the laws of physics and gravity for that matter,
"What would you say if I was Amber?" Amber who was currently inhabiting Jay's body at the moment, Alota eyed her/him over,
"For some strange sadistic reason I actualy quite believe you" Alota said seriously, she folds her arms, and thinks for a moment.
"Ok I remember that little crush you had on Jay so I have to warn you keep your hands to yourself!" then she realised "Keep your hands where I can see them" she said quickly,
"Hopefully Jay will tell me what is going on, meanwhile I'm going to see if chemicly bonding someone to something will make them work harder, you coming?" Alota asked. Amber/Jay nodded and Alota went in search of chicken soup, the kind from a dispenser that acts as a super glue not to be confused with chicken noodle soup, the one that's got the same chemical compound as hydrochloric acid. 
Locating the specified concoction of chicken stock Alota got a huge bowl full and toddled off to find the good ole doctor Cerebrum.  Locating him was easy you just had to follow the chain of explosions that rocked that perticular part of the ship.
