"Ointment??"

OOC: I think Commander Smegg was trying to get me into the story,
but it ended up placing Zack in two places at once (unless there are
two of me running around - a distinct possibility with this
character). So I'm posting as if that scene with Cmdr Smegg hasn't
happened . . . at least not to THIS Zack . . . not yet . . .
Oh, whatever!
-----Snip-----
Stewie McKenzie looked at him jaw dropped.
"You ... you want to work ... here - right here?"
"Yeah," replied Zack, "is that a problem,"
"No of course not, it's just that I needed some more full time
staff here as only 3 employees is not enough for this vast department
store!"
"Vast?"
Zack pardoned himself and looked outside the office. He hadn't
noticed it. From the outside "McKenzie's" looked like a small, yet
odd shop but it was like a TARDIS inside.
"I'll be glad to have you onboard. All I need now is a Medical
report & then I shall greet you to the other staff.
Then Zack piped up, "Er ... pardon me but what will be the
salary?"
"Oh ..." Stewie was a little embarrased, "Well ... it may not be
as big as you wanted - I give the same salary as everyone -"
McKenzie then gave Zack a piece of paper, "$£15,000!!"
"I know .. I know .."
"This is great!"
McKenzie changed his tune, "I'm glad you like it! See you
tommorow!"
-----End Snip-----
Zack smiled. "Deal me in. Tomorrow it is." Then he
frowned. "And where would I go to get a Medical report?"
McKenzie's smile twitched just for a second. "You need to see
the ship's doctor, although I recommend scheduling this with Nurse
Coffey, unless of course you like ointment."
Zack's smile also twitched. "Ointment?"
McKenzie's smile suddenly widened, with just a hint of playful
malice. "Oh, never mind. You'll see what I'm talking about when you
get there."
Zack nodded. "Very well, see you tomorrow."
Then he was off to see to some form of housing. Half an hour
later, he had chosen a very nice air vent just off the Promenade.
Suitable until his first paycheck arrived and he could rent an
apartment.
Now it was time to track down the doctor. Unfortunately,
everyone he asked for directions to sick bay gave him an odd look,
and 'ointment' was mentioned more than once. Zack was starting to
get a little uneasy about the entire affair, but a job was a job, and
this one paid a little better than he was used to settling for.
Finally he arrived at the medical department, and stepped
inside. A woman with purple hair in a white lab coat zipped past
him, tossing a clipboard in his lap and saying "Fill out blocks two
through one fifty six." Then she was gone into one of the back
offices.
Zack sat down and started filling out the questionnaire. He was
amazed at the detail that it went to.
~No, I haven't been abducted by aliens . . . do time-traveling
homicidal maniacs count?~
~Well I'VE never had that one, and I doubt Cubie is even capable
of it.~
~Chronic memory loss? Who'd forget a thing like that?~
An hour and a half later, he finished the form, then sat waiting
for someone to see what he wanted. He admired the bottle collection
lining the walls. Someone had an impressive collection, though
whether the person was collecting bottles of every shape, size, and
color, or whether it was a collection of miscellaneous liquids was
anybody's guess.
<Whichever medical person wants to reply>
