Kayn sat down and put his schedule to one side. He'd need those in a few weeks. Just now he needed to pass that exam. He sat down in his quarters and began to look at the 'Spaceway code'.
He turned straight to the puzzle section and began searching through the items, trying to identify the Sat-suna Class 7 bomber (which looked like a tangerine) from an orange
"Space ship, orange, space ship, orange, space ship, orange, wait a second, THAT'S the space and THAT's the orange, or is it the other way round? Hold on a second! This is a sodding tangerine!"
He turned off the simulator in disgust. He was running fast out of credits and couldn't afford his morning coffee. He decided it was time for serious flight training.
He loaded the program on his Dreamcast* and picked random scenario. The words 'Stealth Bomber Mk6" flashed up on his screen
'Stealth Bomber?' said Kayn not believing what was on screen 'I'm going to learn - Stealth Bomber?'
Five seconds later he had revised all the information on screen. That memory chip sure paid off when it was implanted - even if it did make his uncle bankrupt. He chose a few other scenarios, namely starbug, midget, eagle and starbug decendant**.
Then Kayn decided to go back to the spaceway code. His next puzzle was to tell the difference between the Blue Dwarf and a blue pineapple***
This could be hard. A noise came outside of his door
"Remember Efof...Use the force! Do you think that's real air your breathing"
There was a reassuring thump as if a tall six limbed creature just walked into something metalic and hurt it's testicals
"Do you think that's a real metal grid you just walked into? Do you think those are real canaries orbitting your head? THERE IS NO SPOON!"
Someone had spent too long watching the matrix. Kayn wondered if the Valkyrie could dodge bullets, but decided that it didn't have to...
Johnson walked in waving the sensor details. Kayn directed him to the sign on the wall saying 'All Drive Room Incidences have smeg all to do with me!' and told him to give them to Ashley (the blonde).
OOC - Back at school...god i hate my life at the moment. Just can't wait for the exam...Remember, if your travelling at half the speed of light your stopping distance is about 76 years and the thinking time is a fortnight (DON'T FLAME ME IF I GOT THAT WRONG)
* Dreamcasts were, unaminously, considered a waste of time. Not because they were different and more advanced than other consoles at the time, and not because they had a poorly designed internet system needing BT. The reason many were sold for scrap is because SEGA invented it. No one wanted to buy the dropping console when the company officials commited suicide simulatiously (in a game of russian roulete with a semi-automatic each) except for the JMC, who made it into a training module for academy pupils. Kayn was able to get one at Mckenzies store for $£99.99 inc VAT. Also, it may interest you to know that the intelligence chip has short ciruited in Kayn's head, making him addicted to caffene
