"Well what idiot designed a system like that? remarked Seymour as Jack was
busy gibbering among the guns trying to decide which one to have a go on
first.
"Ahem"
"ah...it was you wasnt it...."
"Nope...actually it was her..." said Phil pointing at Amber..."and Rufus..."
"Ah...sorry about that..."
Amber was now trying to not to laugh... "Ah...it looks like Jacks found
something..."

Charlie make sure we keep an eye on Amber, now that Phil is here he might
want a update. Monitor all here comms. And tell N.S.D to tap her quarters so
we can listen to all her comms from there as well. Okay will do.
Dante ran straight into the rifle range shouting, Ambassador, you wanted my
weapons to be tested. Now you can watch first hand. Dante stopped at the
end of the range and shouted: ENEMY FRONT, RANGE 50 METRES, and released
both magazines from each pistol into the target. Once all 25 rounds of each
pistol where gone Dante placed the handles of the pistols close to his
chest, EMPTY, Reload. He cried. With that Charlie stuck his arms out and
replaced the empty magazines. You let a unlicensed, uninsured, alien, new
security officer use his own weapons. Bellowed Phil. Seymour I am
impressed. Dante then slung his pistols back on his thighs and admired the
target. Each hole was perfectly round and slowly burning the rest of the
target away. They were also only approx 5mm between each bullet hole. NEW
TARGETS. Screamed the supervising Aeron. With that Dante un-slung his rifle
and cried again, ENEMY FRONT, RANGE 200 METRES. He then dropped to one
knee and released a magazine from his rifle, into the target in short
controlled, twothree round bursts. EMPTY. Dante again cried. Change ammo
to phase shifting rounds. Whispered Dante into his chest. But Dante they
havent been tested at all yet. Came the response from Charlie as he
reluctantly handed out the new magazine. Well heres your chance to see
them in action. Dante flicked a switch on the rifle and reloaded the empty
mag. READY, FIRE Dante le one round into the fresh target,
* Camera swings round the bullet in matrix style bullet time. *
The round went through the targets head and out
The target wobbled, went
blue, and then disintegrated.
Well we know it works. Said Dante as he stood up and turned round
expecting to see the whole of security admiring his equipment. But no. They
were busy with Jack and his new toy.
