Trying to be polite

(OOC - Please read the post and comment/comments in: "Legality of Magic in Dalen and Verden". Please also write any additional comments or questions in that same post. By doing so it will be easier for everyone to make sure the others have heard of their opinion on the subject and thereby (hopefully) we can get to some sort of agreement faster and continue that part of the game.)

Artem had to keep himself from commenting on or rolling his eyes in annoyance by Winifreds foolish comment. Maybe she really had some kind of death wish? It certainly wasn't wise to insult an orc, everyone knew that, right? Her nextcomment certainly didn't make thing better and even though he didn't want to further increase the tension between them, he still almost subconsciously reached for the hilt of his sword once more, his eyes still fixed on the orc.

Though it was a disgusting thought he still smiled at the orcs last statement. "Oh, I know the feeling." he said with a smile, clearly saying that as a joke, hoping that a little humor would help on the mood. Still acting calm, but prepared if the orc suddenly were to attack he continued "So are you going back to the city Now? If so, feel free to join us.". He knew it wasn't the brightest thing to propose, but it would be signalling that they didn't have any quarrels with him and didn't want so either. He just hoped that this would work, calming him down, and that Winifred wouldn't keep insulting him.
