Thoughts of a free man

Lafayette laughed "What a weighted question." Looking at the glowing ash dance in the air. "A woman deserves to be treated right." He said looking back to Kline, then back to the fire. "I believe that a woman deserves to be satisfied in mind, body and spirit. A woman's soul is a beautiful thing, meant to be nurtured. A wife is something to care for and love not place on a shelf like a trophy." He said

"If a man should please her. If a man can't please her in all the ways she needs and she seeks it elsewhere. Who am I to deny her what she needs...no deserves." He placed his fingertips together and under his chin. "Imagine being at a party, a woman, the most beautiful you have ever seen. She speaks to you for hours and you connect. She tells you she is unhappy and unsatisfied in her marriage. Unlawful perhaps, but why should she suffer unhappiness that you could ease with one night of a secret tryst. I see no harm in spreading joy." He said sitting up straight and looking forward to Kline's reaction.

Though he truly believed what he said he did savor people's reaction when the would tell people beliefs that circumvented the norm. Shock, disgust, confusion they were all great.
