Cutthroat

Lafayette sighed and groaned sitting up again a sign the had laid wrong against the box. "Perhaps it is how ever, I won't be laying in a bed near death and watching my mother die." he told Kalena "Sadly some come from worse then others."

Hearing Kalena talking about how Kline wasn't brought up in this life. "Ah nor was I. I learned it all after my mother passed, and my father abandoned us when she and I fell ill. I needed to survive I wasn't going to die. I learned trading and bartering. Kept myself alive. Out did anyone around and gained trust of higher powers. How you say...rags to riches, as it were. Learned to fight, protect what was mine. Used my skills in ways I regret and ways I knew were necessary. Though I wouldn't change any of it. Any life lived changes the world some how. No matter how small you see it, no matter how small the world sees it. A change is a change." Lafayette said a smirk crossing his face. "That is why I came here. I made changes in my home land, I want to help made a difference her too." he explained speaking to Kalena like he was talking to a crowd.

(sorry its short)
