Renee kept staring at the possum and to Kevin like he was a madman. Max did his best to calm her down and eventually the lawyer relented.

"I guess it's not so far fetched. Plenty of folks where I come from have exotic pets..." She didn't add the fact that she didn't think vermin like a possum counted as a pet but she knew to keep her lip zipped. "So... I feel we've got all our bases covered should this girl decide to take legal action. I'll be in town for a while so feel free to call me if anything happens."
