She Knows The Right People

River frowned and pulled Serenity into a hug. "Let me make a few calls. I think I might know someone..." She explained before pulling out her phone and making a few of said calls. Each number she called sent her to another until she finally got an answer from the person she was trying to contact.

"Hey, yeah, is he still looking for...uh huh..." River paused for a long moment, responding here and there to answer questions. "He can contact the company, then. Thanks."

After hanging up, she smiled to Serenity. "Well, lets hope your new coach will arrive in the next two days." She said. "He's one of the very few men I trust, so I think you'll get along with him. He puts the health of his ice skaters at the top of his list."

Kent smiled and kissed the top of Tamara's head before glancing around. "Where's your car, though?" He inquired.

Kevin nodded to Renee with an uncomfortable smile as he gently pet Bonnie. The possum let out a happy purring noise as she kept crunching down on cheetos, turning her adorable eyes on the lawyer.

"Thank you for your help," The blond said as he grabbed his backpack and left with Max.

Max just smiled at Kevin. "See? Told you I got your back."

"Yeah," Kevin replied as he checked his phone, looking over a text from Stefan. "I don't like how she was looking at Bonnie, though. We'll have to leave her at home next time we have a meeting."
