Kent nodded and went to Tamara calmly. "Hey, babe," he said with a nervous smile as he stood in front of her, leaning more toward his good leg. "Looks like I'll be getting admitted and going through some surgery, so...I just wanted to let you know."

A cold sweat was already coating the brunette as he thought about what this meant, what it could mean. He was not looking forward to all of this, but it was better than having a permanent limp.

River laughed softly. "Oh, we can meet up close by. I'm sure Chris would like to get out of the apartment for a little bit. How about the little ice cream parlor close by? Yazuhiko is excited to meet you, Serenity." She explained.

Kevin sighed heavily and reached up to pet Bonnie gently. "I...I know...it scares me." He said with a distressed expression on his face. "I guess this means I'm not husband material anymore." A bitter laugh left him as Bonnie clung to his hand.

Bonnie Jr. simply climbed up into Max's hair and settled there to watch over everything. (I promise this mouse won't pull a Ratatouille on him.)

That was when the blond man's mother stepped out and looked to them. "Do you have anything to make tea, dear? Tea is always good for relaxing and you both look like you could use some." She spoke in her kind southern drawl as she looked over them and noticed how both Bonnie and the mouse were so clingy. "You look adorable with the animals, hun."
