A Leg To Stand On

Tam was quick to take a seat next to Kent's bed, dragging it next to it so she could continue to hold his hand as Veronica explained some of the things he'd have to do while recovering. Mainly routine stuff and a few stretches to help with the healing process. Tam only cared that she was with him, wanting nothing more than to remind him that he wasn't alone anymore.

Veronica smiled once she finished. "I'm confident you should be getting discharged, I just ask that you rest for the next couple weeks until we get you in for a followup exam."

Max sighed. "No, he's not here to kick your ass. In fact... I think he's here to apologize to you of all things... he's got a shellshocked look that's got your mom trying to pamper him." He gestured to the living room as he coaxed Kevin out of the bathroom.
