When You're A Vet

Kent gazed at the apartment with a little unease. He had never been able to call a place so nice and large home before, so it was all a little overwhelming to him. Though, having Tam there helped calm his nerves a lot and he could not help but smile to the girl he thought was the most beautiful person alive.

"It's great," He told her as he leaned on the wall, an excuse to stop using the crutches for a little bit. "It'll take some getting used to, but it's great."

The brunette knew it would be far easier to get used to with Tam and her brother living there.

Yazuhiko turned his gaze to Serenity. "That is up to you, Serenity." He explained with a wry smile. "I have worked with many since my retirement. Most go on to be great ice skaters, but it was not only my work that got them there. They put all their efforts into it, pushed themselves to be the best, and enjoyed it. Do you enjoy skating?"

River looked to Chris and was just happy to see a smile on the young boys face. Finishing her ice cream, she went to toss her trash away, only to step outside when she got a phone call.

Paul leaned back and sighed. "I'm going to institutionalize her again and contact her grandmother. That is the only woman I know that can handle Layla." He explained, glancing to the mouse atop Max's head. The inner vetenarian in him kicked into action almost instantly. "You should bring that little guy into the vet so I can make sure he's perfectly healthy."

Kevin couldn't help the slight laugh that erupted from him. Of course, the only vet in town would want to help the odd choice of animals. It was heartwarming, sure, but it was such an odd time to make note of.

Bonnie hopped from Kevin's arms and went to Max, attempting to climb up his leg for both attention and her little adopted child.
