Kent stared at Tamara with a serious expression on his face and gently stroked her cheek. "What do you suggest we do then?" He asked her. It was his way of letting her know he was giving this girl his full trust. The reality was he wanted to be with her, wanted to keep the feeling of a real family...

He wanted a family with her one day.

River turned her gaze to Joneh and could not stop the heat rising up to her face. A part of still felt that familiar fear, but something about this young man sent a happy thrill through her. Perhaps it had something to do with how he threw her rapist out a window to his death. He had saved her, after all.

"I..." She had to clear her throat, pushing her hair back to reveal an old scar along the side of her neck. "I'm okay...better than before." With a grimace, she turned to look at some of the food she was planning to buy. "Uh...yeah, this town is pretty small."

She really hoped he did not see the obvious blush on her face.

Yazuhiko answered the phone with a friendly tone. "Oh, hello, Max." He said as the sounds of his coat being pulled on could be heard. "I remember, you're the handsome one with the cute animals running around. I was hoping you would call."

Bonnie and Jr kept cheering Max on, running in circles happily as they did so, even as Mr. Andrews chuckled at their antics.
