Prelude to war

Desdem

Ekero greeted invited his guests to join him for a meal. He tasked Tarmen to gather some wood for the firepit and Gonyaul to fetch some water from the well.

He kept his eyes on the strange young man. He had travelled further than most in Desdem, even further than some Atsigani, and had never seen the likes of him. His natural curiosity was peaked but the party needed rest, and a good meal, before his inquisitive nature took over his manners.

Pointing towards an old sun baked mud oven, built low in the ground, he asked Alexis to get some bread he had been baking for the evening out while he got Voah to help him get some plates and cups, along some of his preserve jars out from his dwelling.

While everyone was occupied with their tasks no one noticed a small child with long black hair slowly approach the farm.

Berus arrived slowly coming up the dirt path with a large black dog in tow, his eyes drawn towards the returning duo and their comrades.

Alexis was the first to see the young shaman approach. She could not shake the feeling that he knew of their coming, even before they arrived.
