Wim looked Sir Zan and said, “Yes, a dream. I tried a vial I found and after that I had strange dreams. I was visited by Hoi and Orestes and some other god too. So why would not seem strange as ‘talking trees.’ The trees were calling to me, but they did not have voices or talk like people. I just needed to go to the woods. As to the place where the bodies were found, I did not have an idea of where I was suppose to go. I was riding on a hunch not a plan.”

He paused for a moment and then continued, “I went to the woods to see I would have the experience again and I did not and received just a bad headache.”
Wim pulled out a vial from his pocket and handed it to Zane.
“This is what the vial was and it was in a crate of twelve,” he said.
“I believe they may being distributed by the port or someplace in Lowood,” he continued. “As I have been working at staying out of trouble, I do not have an idea of where it is being distributed or who is doing that. I was hoping to take it to the Apothecary to determine what is in it, but he was on a mission,” Wim said.

Gonyaul was having a hard time keeping up and making sense of everything that was being said back and forth between Wim and Sir Zane. They were conversing fast and he would lose words to the sounds melting together more than he would have liked. He did get the feeling that Wim was being interrogated and he was genuinely trying to figure out why good Wim would be potentially in trouble? Was everyone going to be questioned similarly? Where did all the things decorating the walls come from? And like that, Gonyaul’s attention was starting to drift a little bit to other things around the room. Whenever his ears picked up on words and phrases he could comprehend his attention would drift back.

Islana which trying to figure out what would possess anyone to drink a vial they found. It seemed like an odd and unsafe thing to do but maybe she wasn't one to criticize that part if it. Maybe, the vial had the sap in it? Was that possible? Islana didn't really know about such things but she was curious.

Alexis, who had not been part of this from the start, had been just listening so far. “Cagliostro is back. He could check. Might be connected to the sap of those trees, for whatever it is worth.”

Friar Jassin perked up at the part that Wim seemed to be alluding that the vials had given him visions of the gods. "Master Wim, if you have some more I would like one to conduct my own experiments." He politely asked the young noble. Wim nodded in agreement.

"We will get the vial to the Apotechary." Sir Zane started wanting to give Wim benefit of the doubt. "You have all been targets of the Creed and they won't quit easily." He continued. "You have started to unravel their presence here and that does not bode well for the city."

“You seem to be quite aware of their presence, Sir. Friar. So what are they? A necessary evil, or what?“
Alexis inquired, features schooled.

"I know of the Creed. I was not aware of the presence here nor that they still existed." He told the people assemble in the room. "I remember my father telling me stories that his father told him on how his own father expelled and killed a few of this god's followers from our lands. The stories came with a stark warning..."

“Any mention on how they uprooted them? Anything that could help us right now?” Alexis asked.

Sir Zane sighed. "Maybe I was being kind with my words for the sake of my ancestors." he said. "Those of the Creed found in our lands were put to the sword and torch." He added.

"The stories I heard confirm some of what Islana uncovered with the help from the Friar." He paused looking across the room. "Their believes and rituals include human sacrifices to appease and ask boons of their primal god."

Alexis had not expected anything less. “I meant more along the lines of how they could find them. I can only assume they have been in hiding as much back then as they are now.”

Sir Zane focused his eyes on Alexis. "I don't recall how. But we appear to have all we need here in this room as well as a prisoner." He didn't have to say exactly what he was thinking on. If questioning the prisoner gave them no answers, they would have to bait the Creed. They were bound to come for them again.

Islana didn't say anything. She understood that bait might be needed to draw out the Creed. It wasn't something that was occurring right now but if need be she would be the bait. If it meant a child wasn't sacrificed, it would be worth it. Still, this wasn't the time to mention it.
