Ritikios meets Antinea

JP with Lucian, Redsword and Cindy

Sung walked to one side if possible behind someone so as not to be in plain view. Sung will watch for any customary things going on and follow suit. taking the time to look at everyone and trying to memorize their faces for later if necessary. He kept his leather case slung over his shoulder. making it look like just he always carries it.

He took stock of his surroundings, noting the people and the compliance on their faces. Vor couldn’t understand it, but Ritikios knew it was a sign of power and respect. These people knew their place. He glanced to Staniadis.

“The robes?”

"Yes, Sir," Staniadis raised a hand and snapped his fingers. A few of the men, went over to a door off to one the corners and opened it, one went in and came back out a few moments later. He was carrying what looked like a deep blue colored material on a wooden hanger. Another man followed him with a smaller piece of clothing on another hanger which locked white.

The first man approached Vor, and bowed, he then held up the robe. It was a deep blue color, with a light gold trim, which went up the sides and around the collar. The fabric was soft, like a very soft woven cotton but studier, more like wool. It was really a combination of both. The trim was silk.

The second man, held up the smaller piece of clothing it was a small white silk stole, with the round symbol that seemed to be everywhere embroidered on either side. Both pieces were well made and had taken time and skill to put together.

"Do they meet your approval, Sir?" Staniadis asked, concerned of what would happen if the man he knew as Ritikios said no.

Inwardly, Vor marveled at the creation. It’s balance of comfort and integrity was a true skill and he prayed to Metira that whoever made it was an unwilling accomplice in its creation. Ritikios mulled over the material, satisfied that it was of adequate monetary value. His answer to the men was a willingness to let the robe touch his skin, sliding it over his clothes with a trained ease. The stole likewise was placed with an arrogant reverence.

“Where is the one you said wished to see me? Am I to be bribed with cloth to buy time for an amateur?”

From out of the same room came a dark haired woman. She was also wearing a robe, similar to Ritikios, but her robe was a light blue, with dark green trim, the same wave pattern on the trim. Her stole was smaller than Ritikios' and was a dark blue with the circular pattern in gold on either side.

When she walked into the room, everyone stopped what they were doing and bowed to her. Much like they had for Ritikios but the bows for the Arundan had been deep, and the ones now weren't as deep.

Still, no one moved as the woman approached the Arundan. When she got closer it was easy to tell she was human.

"Omilitís tis Alítheias (Spirtual Leader) Antinea," Staniadis began with reverence in voice. "It is my great honor to introduce Igétis tis Alítheias (Leader of Truth) Ritikios."

The woman curtseyed deeply and gracefully to the Arundan before her, "Eínai megáli mou timí kai pronómio na káno ti gnorimía sas, Igétis tis Alítheias Ritikios." (It is my great honor and privilege to make your acquaintance, Leader of Truth Ritikios.)

“It is.”

Ritikios looked over the human. Impressed that she had gained this much power over the others and curious to see just what these meetings contained.

“I am here to witness your meeting.”

"Of course," Antinea. "Staniadis bring in the girls. Everyone else back to work."

"Yes, Ma'am." Ritikios hurried to go about his task, everyone proceed to at least look busy.

"Please, Sir. If you wish, your chair is ready. May I escort you to the stage?" Antinea asked Ritikios. It becoming clear the only seat in the temple was for him.
