Habit possibly from being a doctor but Lamaire had a few bandages on him, enough to quickly bandage his fingers. So while everything else was going on that's what he did. It wasn't pretty but worked for the moment. He had looked up to the gun going off.

Oliver stepped away from Wayne, with a shocked look on his face as Lily's father crumbled to the ground.

"We need to get out of here," Lemaire commanded, Oliver and Lemaire took off, out of the room and down the hallway.

Lily was in shock as she saw her father on the floor bleeding from the ghun shot. She barely noticed the two men leaving the room she quickly went to her father's side and said, "No no no no no this can't be happening. You need to live so I can punish you for all your misdeeds father. You can't do this to me." Lily looked at Dr. Jackal who was still in shackles. She asked, "Dr. Jackal can't we do something?" Dr. Jackal replied, "It all depends on where he was shot. For now you need to plug the holes in front and back with some cloth to keep him from bleeding to much." Lily nodded at Dr. Jackal and understood what he was talking out so she took her father's expensive suit jacket and quickly turned into her half/werewolf form as her eyes turned golden, her ears pointy, her fangs elongated and her painted fingernails grew. She then ripped off the sleeves and used them as a makeshift to minimize the bleeding on her father. Since the bullet went through both sides like Dr. Jackal suggested, Lily managed to plug them both. She was panicked as blood was everywhere and her tears kept flowing. Dr. Jackal was not to surprised by her odd transformation and more curious what her father would say. Lily then turned back to her human form while still crying and saying, "Daddy you can't leave me. I just finally got you back."

Wayne could feel himself growing weaker by the moment, the darkness getting closer. A cough revealed blood, leaving a metallic taste in his mouth. "I knew, you tried so hard to keep it a secret but....I always knew there was something." He weakly said, not overly surprised by her transformation. "Lily," a weak cough, with more blood. "I am proud of you."

Lily was in tears as she heard her father accepting her werewolf side. It had been a huge fear she held onto for a long time. She replied, "I wanted to tell you but you made it hard to open up to you after you fired my nanny." Dr. Jackal watched in silence as he had a good idea that Lily didn't have much time with her father left. Lily then said, "I am so mad at you for pushing me away."

"I regret that decision, but I thought it would keep you safe." He really had believed it was best, at the time, now he wasn't so sure. "Your nanny had to move on, but I went about it horribly. There are many things I would take back now if I could."

Lily then told her father when she noticed her first transformation as a quasi-werewolf and could not understand why she could not fully transform or find a cure. She also told her father she was working with Dr. Jackal on a solution to her problems and that was why she was close to him. She also went on to talk about her lonely time in school and that she was doing an internship under Lady Elizabeth to continue her education. She didn't mention the Order nor any secrets about her collogues since she was sworn to secrecy. Dr. Jackal quietly watched the two say their goodbyes. By the sounds of Wayne's coughing and the gurgling of blood coming out it was clear he didn't have much time left.

Wayne listened, as he struggled to maintain consciousness. He could feel the life draining from his body.

"I am sorry ... I wasn't there... for you," Speaking was now labored, but Wayne managed to gently touch his daughter's hand. "I do ... love you ... don't ever... forget that."

Those would be Wayne Lavigne's final words, as his eyes shut and he faded into darkness.

Lily balled in tears as she clutched her dead father. All her stress and pent up emotions had finally be unleashed as she held her father. She was angry, stressed out, relieved, betrayed, hurt, anxious, happy and dealing with her loss at the same time. It was a flood of emotions all at once as she heard her father make his last sounds as he passed on. His words touched her heart deeply as she kissed his forehead before her tears dripped on his face. Dr. Jackal was now feeling a bit emotional as well since this vision made him flash back to loosing his parents. It was not a memory he wanted at this point but knew he needed to come to terms with it. Granted the whole moment only took a minute, it still felt like it took a whole day.
