And Not a Drop to Drink

It was evident that the Priests here were telepathic. Who knew what other powers they had? That was pretty much all Jade had time to think before she cried out in surprise. Her Docotorly instincts kicking in she lunged forwards towards the second priest as he sunk the knife deep into his arm. Blood began to ooze out and he made an elaborate complicated gesture, twisting his hands in a way that would make a contortionist wince.
She reached the first priest, who knocked her back effortlessly with his staff, a small jolt of power coming from the hardened shaft of wood. The knock shoved her on her back, her head hitting the soft sand with an unpleasant bump that left her with a headache already. As she looked back at her fellow Dwarfers, she could see that they were all sinking down onto the sand, falling into a deep sleep.
She reached out for someone, anyone, as the sleep began to take her too. She wasn't sure who she had touched, but there was still a pulse.
It all went black.

Jaxx and Evelina tried to move but were hit by an overwhelming need to sleep. Jaxx fought the urge to sleep as he tried to walk only to find his feet were sinking into the sand. He glanced at Evelina and saw she too was sinking in the sand. Jaxx could see Dr. Black trying to reach for him but his body was shutting down and his vision began to fade as he passed out.

"Oh no Miss Jade. How will the priests extract your magic without the divine fluids? They need that to have ready access to it." The young woman moved the flap aside so Jade could follow her out.
Jade understood now why she was quite as dizzy and head achy as she was. They had drained some of her blood. For what purpose she didn't know.
Maybe someone else had a better idea than her as to what was going on.
"Please, take me to see my friends."

As Jaxx slowly opened his eyes he realized he was in trouble. He was in a five foot light blue sphere that hovered above a platform in some kind of dungeon. No one else was in the room and Jaxx could not hear any sounds coming from anything. Jaxx had to adjust his eyes to the dimly lit room. He sighed and muttered, “I have a sudden urge to smack Fuzzy Lumpkins in the snout. Till that happens I’m totally gonna need to get outta here and stuff.” Jaxx checked for his weapons and found them missing along with his pack. However they left his armor on for some reason. Jaxx examined the sphere he was in and found it felt solid so he tapped it. Then Jaxx focused all his power and slammed his fists into the sphere in hopes of breaking it. Unfortunately the energy bounced back onto Jaxx causing him to bounce like a pinball all over the inside of the sphere and eventually landing on his head.

Jaxx slowly say up and cracked his neck into position as he muttered, “Owwww. Not cool.” Then Jaxx sighed as he looked around. Jaxx thought about what he could do and came up with only one answer. As Jaxx reposition to sit Indian style, he said, “Looks like I totally got some chill time coming.” Then Jaxx began meditating
