Road to the City

Lafayette smirked at Kalena's playing with words. "A pleasure to meet you Laffy." he said with the best 'bow' he could being on a horse. Being on his best behavior seeing that the group was not bigger, and he was taught to have manners. He looked at the group making mental notes of each and everyone of them. At least what notes he could. Looks, size, height, a guess at weight, and their weapons. "It will be nice to not be walking alone." Lafayette added.

"Kalena, is the apparel I am currently wearing suitable for your party or will I be in need of a change?" Lafayette questioned her. He wanted to make the best impression he could, but he also didn't want to have to buy clothes. It would be a was of what little coin, and what little space remained in his pack.

Lafayette watched as Kalena studied the group before them being a bit shocked by the odd man with the horns. Something Lafayette hadn't seen before, though a lot of things were new to him in these lands. Though he realized he was odd to these people he spoke loudly, with implied authority, and arrogance. Along with this accent the stood out like a sore thumb, he planned to at least wait till the party to speak to much more. At least there he could just seem eccentric and charming.

Meanwhile... Eliza sat at her vanity table brushing her hair, when suddenly she sneezed. Getting the feeling someone somewhere just might have mentioned her, in a less then flattering light.
