Still On Dinner And Breakfast

The moment River dashed off Jonah felt a pang of worry, he had known she was wary around him and tried to give her as much space as he could and tried to refrain from looking at her, but he couldn't help but try to figure her out. The fact she was so quick to leave made him wonder if he did something wrong, but he kept it to himself.

Chris smiled and waved at Kent before heading off to bed.

Tam looked to Kent, sensing that River's departure was more to do with the issue she had with men in general. A part of her wanted to follow River and try to help her, but her attention was drawn to her cousins.

Tam looked to Lisa and winced. "Serenity's... a bit shy actually."

Lisa looked to Serenity and nodded. "Oh, honey I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wig out. I'll just... ah..." She frowned as she looked to the door. "Where'd the cute goth girl go?"

Jonah just sighed, "She just had to go home, Lisa."

Lisa shrugged. "Aw man... We were all gonna grab dinner too..."

Tam sighed. "Actually it's been a busy day. I don't want to go out for dinner."

"We can order in! Door Dash!" Lisa was exuberant. "What should we order?"

Jonah looked to them all with a look that said "I'm sorry for her." Then promptly said: "Again, I'm buying."

Max smiled. "It's fine, Mrs. Andrews." He sat down and started to make a plate for himself, opting to throw caution to the wind and eat as much as he wanted because there was no way in hell he was going to waste any of this lovely food Kevin's mom had made.

"So..." Kent said after a very pleasing breakfast. "...what're we doing today?"
