Among the Ash Hooves people

Boyce was as happy as a giddy schoolboy. Soaking up all the language Boyce could. Boyce would trade two of his throwing knives again and hopefully a few items out of it. Thinking on the Ash Hooves people they are amazing people and Boyce was thankful that they were friendly for the most part. Their efficiency was a surprise to Boyce. Looking at them made Boyce want to stay with them for months if he could.

Boyce finished tieing off the tarp that went from the small wagon to close to the ground making a lean tube shelter of sorts and doing any other tasks that Alexis asked of him. Boyce had to come to an understanding of the fang people. Boyce knew this would not be their first encounter with them.

Some of the kids would stare at Boyce and the others. He knew that he would have to be Boyces best to share their fire. Boyce would wait for the Ash Hooves people to gesture to come over and they did. The sun was setting the breeze felt good moving across his face and body. The sound of the high grass moving as the breeze passed by Boyce. Boyce started out over the land He knew from the Ash Hooves people's warning of the Luger cats Boyce kept looking He knew it was out there watching and waiting for the group to make a mistake and take advantage of it. Boyce could not help to think if the Ash Hooves people were thinking the same about their group.

The thought of that faded as they shared food and drink talking. Islana had made a friend thought Boyce. Watching the others to any trouble that could start or miscommunications.
