Of All The Music Rooms

Rose looked up as Dante walked out of the practice room. She wasn't now as sure about having seen him, before, though the feeling was still there. Still, chalking it up to seeing him around the school, maybe they had a class together. Rose wished she could have said she had been paying more attention to who was in her classes with her but her mind had been on other things; mostly trying to get through the first day.

When he spoke up and mentioned not giving a good first impression she waved it off. "Hi." It didn't really bother her that he was sweating; sometimes it happened. "It's fine. I've not been in one of the practice rooms. I'm a little surprised they don't have them better air-conditioned."

"Trouble?" She heard him ask. "Artist block I take it. Happens to the best of us."

"Yes. I'm supposed to have a rough draft done by tomorrow. At this rate, I might be handing in a blank sheet of paper." Rose sighed. "I suppose I could just say music can only be interrupted by the musician but I don't think that'll go over well."

Realized she hadn't even introduced herself. "I'm Rose by the way."
