A Rat To A Bit of Cheese

Jonah wasn't about to be fooled. He'd seen Noah skulking about and was determined to let the bastard think he'd gotten the upper hand. Fact of the matter was that Jonah had more experience guarding places from far more clever individuals.

And he knew how to bait someone.

Opting to act like he was going on another patrol of the outside of the apartment complex, Jonah stepped out of his car and began to walk. Never betraying the fact that he could see where Noah was he kept walking and even whistled a catchy tune just to make it look like he didn't know what he was doing.

With luck, Noah would take the bait and try to access the building from the few very likely ways that Jonah had figured. All that mattered was that once the fucker was in he'd be trapped and justice could be done proper.

Max nodded at Kevin. "Yeah, though I don't mind if Stefan does keep an eye on you. You are kinda still dealing with everything that happened. I'll keep an eye on your folks while you're out." He smiled at Kevin reassuringly, his eyes full of care and compassion. "You're not alone, Kev..."
