Tension, Awkwardness, And Is She Blushing?

As much as Sophia wants Perrine to stay, to feel safe in the presence of a friend, she does not wish to be a burden to anyone. “No, you go on. I know you’ve got stuff to do.” She replies to him and gives him a smile that tells him nothing of what she’s thinking.

Snorting, Honey calms down thanks to Perrine’s reply to her and leans into Sophia slightly. Her eyes are on Malik again, watching him. She will make sure that the white haired young woman is never alone with him. Or any man, for that matter. At least she will try, anyway.

“Uh…hi,” Sophia says to Cynthia and hugs herself. “Uhm…Sophia Sawyer. I…I’m looking for a medic that helped me a while back. I want to thank her…otherwise, I’m…I’m not sure what to do.” That is the honest truth. What is there for her to do other than keep walking and walking and walking. A person can get tired of going everywhere all the time.

She hopes they will let her stay. The fatigue is finally hitting her and she wishes for some rest.

Khun calmly listens to Johnathan and once he is done, she offers a smile. “It’s okay…I merely worried I was stepping on toes,” She admits. “I’ve never had luck with people and often end up with angry girlfriends out to get me in trouble or something. I understand the situation, but she should not lead you on like that. It’s cruel and heartbreaking.”

She knows what it is like to be led on by someone. In her teens she was led on for years by a boy she thought would love her, but in the end, she was told to literally fuck off. It still stings when she thinks about it, but she tries not to let it bother her.

“Sorry…” Khun finally says after a brief moment. “I didn’t mean to assume…I mean…she had a jealous look in her eyes and…Apologies. I’ll shush.” She clamps her mouth shut, that light blush having grown darker. Feeling foolish and childish, she glances along the hallway and hopes to spot the cafeteria or something - an escape from this awkwardness she is creating.
