Maybe It's Time To Actually Sleep?

Sophia gasps at the sight, but says nothing as Honey nuzzles into her leg. Her fingers brush through the wolf-dog’s fur, watching as Cynthia worked her magic. The only other person she knew capable of that was Khunara…

So there are more. She thinks and brushes back a white lock of hair. Good. It means we may just be able to survive this new world after all. With a grimace, the girl shifts in her seat and finally stands up, wiping her tears away. “So…uh…what now?” She asked audibly, still watching with curiosity. For some odd reason, she does not fear Dream Walkers. “Will Honey be welcome to stay with me if I’m allowed to stay?”

A part of her feels slight concern about staying, especially after her exchange with Malik. Maybe, if she does get to stay, she can avoid him? And if she is unable to, she’ll have Honey.

“Oh, thank you,” Khun says softly as she lets Johnathan take the plate and utensils she used to eat with. Her heart is thundering in her chest so harshly, she worries he might be able to hear it. Getting up, she gently dusts off and takes a look toward Fran before following the man. “So, I assume I’ll be staying down here? That’s how Cynthia made it sound, I think.”

She is starting to feel the exhaustion hit her. With a full belly and few hours of sleep, she is having a hard time keeping her eyes open, but she does not miss the smile. Her face heats, flushing at his kindness.
