Catching Up

Dante tilted his head a bit and thought. "Rings a bit of a bell." he said. "Don't think to much about those days though." he told her. "It's a long story. But yeah I remember a girl like that at my dad's weird parties. I don't know who hated them more. Me or my Mom." he shrugged.

"How have you been. You don't need to talk about the obvious bad things." he said, "I know and won't tell people." he said. "Not my thing to tell."

He did remember her; Rose really hadn't been sure if he would. It had been a long time since they had seen each other. To the blonde girl; it felt like a lifetime ago.

He caught her a little off guard when he said he knew though maybe it shouldn't have. Some people, in the same circles, knew. It was just no one believed them when there were so many rumors flying around.

"Thank you." She said before responding. "I'm OK. How have you been doing? It's been years."

So, maybe she really wasn't OK. Maybe, she really hadn't been OK in a while but she was trying to get her life back together and that was better than some places she had been in the past year or so. Still, she didn't mind talking to him about other things, almost anything else.
