Saturday at birthday party Boardwalk Pt3

(JP with Redsword and Cindy)

Taking off his shoes JD next to Rose he took his Adidas string bag and opened it up he knows to bring it along to hold things like water or prizes won with him and Rose. he placed Roses and his shoes in the bag and closed it and put his arms through the strings and wore it on his back. JD took her hand and they walked down by the shore at the water's edge. There were not a lot of people here so walking the water line was easy. Rose seemed to glow in the sun her beauty was captivating to JD. He smiled at Rose he had a mischievous look on his face. He pulled out his phone with his other hand he scrolled through something taping every once in a while. suddenly some guitar music started to play and JD started to sing to Rose. JD did not know how to express how he was feeling about Rose. Music was one of the ways he always got his emotions in the open. JD serenaded Rose on the beach shore.

JD sings (I Don't Want To Miss A Thing - Aerosmith) with passion looking into her eyes often.

The song

It was a nice day, and Rose was enjoying walking on the beach with JD. She wasn't sure what he was doing with the phone. Rose thought he might have something to show her but then the music started. Much to her surprise; JD started to serenade her.
Rose's heart melted, JD already had that but she, herself, might not have realized how much he had captured her heart until that moment. There wasn't a lot of people on that section of beach but the ones nearby had stopped to listen as well. Rose, though, didn't notice as she could only focus on JD at the moment.

JD finishes the song he embraces Rose and kisses her. When they broke from their kiss. He had not realized people were watching them. JD blushed some as some people clapped some. He looked to see if anyone was using their phone to record what was happening. It was so spontaneous that no one had that of that. "Let's go, Rose, JD said to her taking her by the hand, and continued to walk down the beach. JD knew something was different with Rose. He had never done that before with a girl and never on the beach. JD's heart was still beating fast. "I hope you know how much I care about you. I could not put it into words. that was the only way I could tell you. I hope you like it?" said JD just over the sound of the waves softly.

Rose didn't realize people were watching until she heard the people clapping. She looked around a soft smile coming to her face. He took her hand and they continued walking on the beach. Liked it? That wasn't close.
"I loved it. " She smiled at him. Her heart was still racing a little from that moment. "It was amazing."

JD smiled at her response. "O, I am sure lots of boys would do that for you. Well, maybe hire someone to do it. I am sure you had to hire a guy to beat the boys off with a stick." JD said with a smile. JD gave Rose a look to try to stop me. "Not that would stop me."

Rose shook her head and smiled at him before kissing him again. "Even if that was true it wouldn't be the same if it wasn't with you." She responded. Though she really hadn’t had a lot of guys after her, in the past, not that she had noticed. They continued walking. The sand felt good on her feet. JD's hand felt comfortable in her own. The sun warmed her face. It was a perfect day but even it the weather hadn't worked out, Rose knew if she was JD, the day would be pretty perfect.

JD realized why his father and mother like the beach now and why they walk alone. JD did not think this day could get any better he looked into her eyes and JD knew somehow she was feeling the same. "I can't wait for the dance. I have never really gone to a dance with someone that I feel like when I am with you." JD thought and paused. "I am... so happy to be going with you and it means everything to me." JD looked up and smiled. "I can wait to see what dress you pick out and how good you will look in it." JD expresses with excitement.

Rose's last dance she had a date for, she didn't want to think about. It didn't matter now. Now she was where she should be with who she should be she knew that. "I'm really happy to be going with you. I wouldn't want to go with anyone else." Rose meant every word of that. "I've felt like this with anyone, either." They weren't walking fast, just enjoying the moments together.

JD walked closer to the shoreline. the cold water splashed across his feet as it came up onto the shore. JD wanted to go in but knew better not. Not that he couldn't but his clothes would be a mess for the rest of the day. JD did not want to do that to Rose. JD could not even think of things to say he was just happy to be with Rose. JD had never really seen her angry and never made her angry. ”What’s Something That Bugs You or makes you angry?” asked JD trying to learn more about Rose.

Anger wasn't an emotion that Rose was very comfortable expressing but, of course, she had things that bugged her. "Snobs, anyone that mistreats people or animals. Are at the top. " She paused. "There are a lot of people at school that wonder why I don't want to be part of the rich kid's group and one of the main reasons is how snobbish they are. They remind me too much of people like my parents. I've never really thought money made anyone better than anyone else."

Thinking on what Rose said JD smiled not a big list "I could tell about the snobs. I feel the same way I was raised that all people put on their pants the same way and we all bleed red. That we are all equal. Some are blessed more than others it does not mean you should look down on them. With animals well I guess I should stop kicking dogs and be nicer to Conner?" JD said with a playful grin.

Rose nodded. "My brother had a lot to do with why I didn't end up a snob, he wasn't one either. But I also think it's difficult to take after parents that aren't really the ones raising you." When JD mentioned the dogs and Conner, Rose knew he was joking. "I'm not buying you kick dogs for a moment." She said lightly. "And if you're mean to Conner you might incur the wrath of Kaylee. I get the feeling she's small but mighty." Rose smiled as she slightly joked.

JD laughs lightly. "No more like referring to Conner as an animal so I have to be nicer to him. It is a joke from the summer. Anyways, I'm am sorry I keep making you bring up your brother. How are you doing with all that? I know I can hide or do not express my feelings well. So you doing ok with what happened? asked JD.

Rose wasn't expecting the question about her brother and she stopped walking for a moment. "I miss him. I'm not sure if I'll ever get past that feeling of wanting to call him when something happens. But it's not as bad as was." She paused. "William's bound to come up in some conversations and I don't want to never talk about him." Rose looked out over the water. "I think the worst part about his death is how unfinished his life feels. If that makes sense." Her brother had just been 20 when it happened, while older than her, Rose still thought it felt way too young to have that happen.

JD looking down moved the sand around with his foot. "I wish I could have met him." JD looked back up at the sky. "My Father always said that they never really die as long as they are alive in our hearts. Remember their sacrifice and how they lived. That will honor them and keep them alive in us. You have a big heart, Rose. I know he still lives in you." JD said Somberly. JD embraced Rose holding her tightly and kissed her forehead. Trying to give her some comfort. "Let's start to walk back towards the pier I would like nothing more than walk all day here with you alone.t Our friends would probably start to search for us. I know Sam and Conner would not be happy if we just disappeared without a text or a call." Said JD with a smile.

"I wish you could have met him as well. I think he would have liked you." Rose listened to JD about what his Dad had said. "That's a nice thought. I like that." Rose agreed with going back, smiling about Sam and Conner, "Yeah, they'd have everyone looking for us." She paused. "We have time to go on a ride. I think we could find something to go on." Unless he had another idea.

"I can think of a few things" then clears his throat" and gives a seductive Smile almost trying to be funny "I mean I am sure we can find a ride to go on," said JD with confidence. Walking with Rose her hand in his He felt so full of love for her. JD wanted to say something to her but his insecurity was stopping him from saying anything to Rose. Why was it so hard JD thought? His dad had trained him to deal with most situations but not in dealing in Love. JD had never had to deal with such a strong emotion. He was at a loss for words to describe how he felt about her. For now, he would just settle walking and holding her hand.
