Foreboding

Time stamp: Sentinel Island
Till would have laughed at the misfortune of the wreckage and its crew had the circumstances been different but this whole scenario gave him pause. "What kind of...?" he muttered quietly. He fiddled with the teak figurine hanging on the leather strap around his neck.

"What? What do you see, my Lucky Star?" asked the Arbiter seeing the concern on Till's face.

"That's... unlike ANY ship I've ever known... and I've lived on ships my whole life." Till responded, staring blankly.

Standing closely next to him, Voah took in the sight of the shattered wreckage, noting the scorch marks. Could it be that the rumors were true? The thought unsettled her.

On the Beach
Voah listened carefully to Alexis' and the others for instruction and planning on how to proceed. It was best for everyone's survival if she just fell in line until they knew more about the island and its inhabitants. So she followed the others, giving only a brief suggestion of wards against Magik.

"I cannot be sure if the scorch marks on that ship are the work of pyromancy... that is... fire magiks, but I have already blessed the Hogue in the names of Vastad, Cambena, and Kupen and with the Captain's permission, I also etched the Warding Eye into the railings and forecastle deck to help protect the ship from such attacks. I’m not asking you to do anything you have a mind not to, but it would not hurt you all to use the same marking."

She followed Tarmen and Hunter’s lead as they moved across the beach and into the wet earthy air of the jungle.
