Pancake's flat-out revenge

<snip>
The Huzzards looked at Jaxx and then at each other and then back at Jaxx. Suddenly they scurried off like they saw a ghost. "Was it something I said?" , asked a confused Jaxx. <end snip>

The crew stumbled out of the shuttle. Exhausted, they each headed for the flight deck exit. Above them on the first floor walkway, a face appeared on a monitor and peered down at them with a maniacal grin on his face.

“Oh, have the skutters been doing some renovation work?” Jay said, his voice flat and digital as it was heard over the grainy CCTV cameras. “I don't remember this corridor being this short.”

Jay and Alex started feeling the new corridor divider. It was a wall blocking their access to any part of the ship. “Construction work is shoddy.” said Alex. “I reckon the skutters did it.”
“There's a door here.” Jay said, “...but no door handle.”

That was when Justin decided to make his appearance.

The face of the perverted hologram appeared on a screen above them. His nose positioned so close to the camera that it was distorted out of proportion. He leaned backwards. “Oh hello smegheads” he said, and grinned, but his diagonal eyebrows showed he wasn't happy to see them.

“Justin what's going on?”

“Well, let me see...” Justin started. “Last thing I remember was you.... left me here all on my own. And maybe I went a little... crazy...”
“Rubbish!” Said Jay. “We brought you with us on the Starbug.”
“Where I died!” Justin snapped. “You killed me!”
“The Starbug lost power you idiot. We couldn't help that!” Said Jay.
“I died! I died over and over! Do you know what it's like to die a digital death? Eh? It's horrible!”

Jay sighed, and looked around at the others. Molly, Evelina, Jade and Jamie looked confused.
“What's going on?” Jamie asked.
“Who's this idiot?” Jade said, pointing to the screen. “I thought you said this place was safe?”
“He's a crewmember... he's a hologram.” said Jay. “He's.... well... I'd like to say you'd grow to like him eventually but you won't. He's a prick.”
“I can hear everything you say you know!” Justin said from the screen. “And by the way, I'm not a hologram.” Justin sneered. “Not now. My last light bee was abandoned on that planet. Abandoned! I bet you smegheads didn't even have the for-thought to bring it back for me did you? No, I didn't think-”

“Actually I've got it here.” Said Jaxx, completely diffusing Justin's rant.
“Oh... oh thankyou very much.” he said, his tone completely changing to calm niceties, before quickly changing back to menacing. “But don't think this changes anything!!! I will have my revenge!”
“Revenge?”
“REVENGEEEE!!!!” his voice trailed off, then he said much calmly “Then can we have some beers and a catch-up? I haven't seen you guys in ages.”
“Let us out of this room Justin!” Jay said. Then whispered to Alex, “If we can get to the holographic control room, can you reprogram him? I think his programming has smegged up a bit.”

“I can still hear you!” Justin said. “I'm an ever-present computer now! That's why I'm just a floating head like Holly. Look, I can spin my head around though. Wheeeee!”

“Justin!” Captain Chrysler snapped. “This isn't funny. Let us out of this metal cell you've constructed, and let us go back to our rooms.”

“Not just yet. As punishment for abandoning me I've constructed an assault course for you. You're trapped like a rat in a maze, hahahhahahahaaa!”

The door buzzed and opened. Curiously, they all went through, Alex pushing Seymour.
“The skutters wanted to rebuild the drive-room. But where's the fun in that? So I told them to build this instead.” Justin said, his voice now coming from a monitor inside the room.

Ahead of them was an assault course complete with a flaming fire pit, a rope-walk, tarzan swings, hinged stepping-stones, swinging axes, and a spiked presser which slammed into the floor every few seconds.

“Cross to the other side to be redeemed!” Justin said, then laughed.

“Erm, Mr Pancake how am I supposed to get across?” Seymour asked. “I'm disabled don't you know!”

This made Pancake's face drop. “Oh. Smeg. Sorry Seymour, well how about you go through this door here, sorry about the inconvenience” A door opened up in the wall, and Alex pushed Seymour through. The panel slid shut just as he was inside.
“Disabled access.” Justin said, looking slightly embarassed.

“Can't we all go that way?” Jamie said, not liking the thought of going through the deadly assault course.
“NO!!!!”

Some leaflets fell to the floor from hatches above.
“What's this?” Jay said, picking one up.
“JMC Health and safety waivers. To say you won't sue if there's any accidents.”

<OOC – Do you dare attempt Justin's deadly assault course?
