Time To Land

Rowan look back at Ripper “this better not damage my ship, or you be walking in space” said rowan.

Ripper chuckled sadly as he looked at Rowan. "Ring has never damaged a ship before..." Gazing toward Ring silently, he frowned. "Sorry, old friend."

To help Rowan, Ghost used the communication system. "It's fine. Just get ready because this is always a bit of a jump..." She explained.

The two halves of Ring on both ships began to glow and shake slightly before a loud click sounded. Practically sucking in the stars around them, the ships disappeared just before the debris field. On the other side, the ships reappeared with a loud blasting sound, the area around them warping slightly and getting pushed away by the massive power output.

Ghost could only stare as her home came into view, a frozen world that looked cracked down the middle. With a glance to Rowan, she said, "Once we're down there, don't land right away. I have to unlock the loading bay so the ships don't get buried under snow and ice while we're in the facility. Should probably warn Mar and the others to do the same. Once it's open, you can just fly on in." Offering a sad smile to him, she pulled out the key from her bag and whispered, "I'm home."

Ripper frowned deeply, his eyes on their half of Ring as it began to smoke and fell to the floor. He knew it was most likely happening on Mar's ship as well. Getting to his feet, he walked up next to Rowan and looked at the planet. "Avoid the storm to the left. You don't want to run into what lives in there..." Crouching down, he picked up their half of his weapon.

The half of Ring on Mar's ship fell to the floor with a loud clang, smoke slowly rising from it. Carla rushed to Mira and began to peck at the weapon viciously, attempting to wake it.
