Listening to Advice

"Look what I mean is, if your parents are toxic to you, when you can and you are safe and ready cut them out if you can. You don't need that poison taking away what makes you, you."

Rose let Dante finish before responding to what he said. It was a nice thought and she could cut them out but she was only 15 and that seemed like three very long years.

"I have some time before that can happen." Rose took a breath. "At least I'm not around them a lot so I suppose that's a good thing." Her parents, mostly her father, ignoring her wasn't a good thing but at least she didn't have to deal with him on a regular basis.

"I'm sorry. You probably have things to do. I shouldn't be taking up so much of your time." Rose suddenly realized he probably had a limited time in the practice room and here she delaying him from getting back to it.
